It must take one years to master the Art of Lucid Dreaming. It took me at least a hundred tries to realize Lucid Dreaming, Astral Projections and Prophetic Dreams were all the same.
With Lucid Dreaming you are able to control dreams and realize within the dream that you are dreaming (easy to do when you notice the differences between dreams and reality). Astral Projections occur when you are able to soul travel, in other words an OBE (Out of Body Experience). Prophetic Dreams are dreams that come true – or manifest in reality, if you will. What makes them the same? They are all different forms of each other. Different words to describe like experiences, according to different cultures and religions.
I was having an intense dream yesterday about being chased by a bat. It was circling around me in the Sea, and then I lifted my arms towards it and said to myself “I send you my Energy”. It got confused and didn’t know where to go, so it decided to land on a tree and rest there for a little bit.
I woke up confused. Why a bat? Is it because bats are seen as something both Good and Evil? Is it because bats are also seen as Vampires other than ordinary animals? The fact that it was circling around me and that I felt a little confused and disoriented, showed it was more bad than good. I’d like to say good too, because I felt a shower of safety washing over me after sending it my Energy.
I am now sat in an Airport waiting for departure to go back home and many ideas struck me at once.
When you’re done vacationing and go back to reality, a lot of thought goes into piecing the events that you need to remember and why certain experiences needed to happen.
There is a lot we see in reality and sometimes do not register because of the unconscious mind. Sleep, at least to me, brings those answers to the surface. “Enchanted Dreams Spell?” I thought. Why not?
I went into one of the bathroom stalls in the airport and decided to put my idea to the test. I have a medium vial filled with sand I got, upon leaving the Maldives, as a nice little souvenir or gift from the hotel staff.
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
Make him the cutest that I’ve ever seen
Give him the word that I’m not a rover
Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over
Sandman, I’m so alone
Don’t have nobody to call my own
Please turn on your magic beam
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
The lyrics above are from one of my favourite songs from The Chordettes.
This was too intense of a recollection to be a coincidence. I decided to act on my instincts and put together this spell.
I understand bathrooms are usually seen as places one shouldn’t perform such a thing, because they are dirty, especially public ones; but this was a private bathroom that already had incense prior to me entering. I did not want to do this in a public space and have people scatter from confusion.
Enchanted Dreams Spell
- Send out your Good energy. Close your eyes and imagine White & Golden energy engulfing the entire place you are in. (I am pretty sure you might not be in a bathroom stall like me).
- Create a circle with sand. I like circles because they are neat and convenient, you do not have to be exact like symbols.
- Place a Red Rose* in the centre of the circle.
- If you feel comfortable closing your eyes feel free to do so. If not, place your hands above the flower in the centre and repeat the following THREE times:
Guardian of Dreams
Make What is Muddy Clear
Where Confusion Rests and Daytime’s Chaos Reigns
Bring About a Peaceful Sleep and Clear Rains
After you are done, place the sand in a glass bowl mixed with Salt. Put the rose at the top of your bowl. It is important that this looks nice and inviting, as it will be placed by your bedside.
* There was a Red Rose in the airport Lounge and I could not pass up this opportunity, especially since I usually take naps on airplanes. Red Roses symbolise love, passion and precariousness. Rose Water has been used throughout generations to calm inflamed skin conditions and Roses have always been a symbol of loving gifts.
- One Red Rose
- Your Energy
- Glass Bowl
If you feel intimidated by the idea of dreams, do not push yourself to do this. Simply meditating on the idea, that you want your unconscious to be revealed, could be enough.
Feeling open to New, doesn’t just come immediately. I was extremely cautious as to performing spells at first. I did not want to unintentionally invite an entity I did not wish to speak with. After several mind-altering experiences like Ayahuasca and DMT, I realised that if you vibrate from a place of love and hold that intention, it is impossible. Energies attract one another. That is why a lot of people say that with the Law of Attraction, you get what you think of and focus on.
Letting go in dreams is not as easy as it sounds. As much as nightmares have their place in unburdening or shaping us, they are not pleasant to experience.
Set an alarm on the exact time you want to wake up. That could make you feel better :).
I get a lot of questions about people still being worried about seeing something they do not want to, and that is perfectly normal.
Tools you could have to cleanse your space:
- Frankincense (to burn)
- Palo Santo
- Clear Quartz Crystal
- Obsidian Crystal
- Black Onyx Crystal
